I love Zenos looking "other" I think it really suits him to have a physical representation of his internalized identity as a monster.

In the AU I'm writing the souls within Zodiark as being (obviously driven by the will of the convocation) but also regretful/rageful/with extreme desire to live. Which pairs poorly with Zenos' apathy and lack of reason to live. Zodiark can speak, but it sounds like several thousand voices at once.

The souls within Zodiark mourn for what was and desire to return to the past, while everything Zenos represents is the emergence of a new generation, and the sloughing of tradition and history. As a creative, and somewhat symbolic, quirk, he has no voice and uses sign language to communicate.

His desire to maintain his individuality and agency trumps all else. But this conflict is in direct opposition with the Will of Zodiark, which is essentially a physical representation of the Needs of the Many, creating a dramatic clash between two strong desires.

I believe Zenos' will is strong enough to rival that of a god's. This was also a thought experiment for a sort of "mirror" to the WoL and Hydaelyn. His detachment from humanity and his own emotions, coupled with his STRONG sense of self makes him pretty impervious to the wills of others.

This Zenos suspected Fandaniel's betrayal and killed him, merged with Zodiark and had his final conflict. Unfortunately, he did kill the WoL in this state and was left trapped on the moon.

Hair I made myself from infinity nikki rips, as well as the added Zodiark details... The body textures are from xma. I enjoy that his facial horns (the part on his face) animates when he talks as well. It looks very good in game. I may lower the resolution on the hair so it doesn't look dithered
