The crew’s girl was by far shafted the most. This is me not even remembering her name off the top of my head, it’s that bad. I feel like the rival (for me, Urbain, because my character was a lady) and to a lesser extend Naveen had a lot more to do than her.

I haven’t seen the completion of the rival’s stuff yet (that’s post endgame…maybe?), but what I will say is I was not really invested in this game’s crew like I was in Scarlet and Violet. I don’t really dock points tho, I imagine younger folk will like them well enough. 👵

All this to say, I did beat it, and am pausing a bit before doing endgame stuff to go back to Hades 2 for a while.

The game is solidly a 8/10 for me but I don’t know if that’s because I was already interested in the mega evolution lore (which is still so fucked up hahaha)

I don’t think you really needed to know much of anything for Arceus, is what I mean. Like at most you missed fun Easter eggs. This was kind of a continuation of game plot lol.

The concept seems very good, I think I just need a game to take the reins a little more away from me. 🤣

I feel like so many games in the last few years have been under the ‘people were mad at THIS? Why???’ category. It’s why there’s such a shortlist of people I trust their opinion on stuff at this point. Glad you had a good time, it’s on my list to play eventually.
