(My moniker is from the Sparks song) (My photo is not current)(I am a scrap on the heap of life)

I enjoy parentheses.
Personally,I don’t care about having followers & I’ve blocked every new follower whose profile screams BlueMaga, Israeli flags etc.just as I’d block any MAGA.

I already hear their views IRL & in mainstream media.

Former Richmonder here & I followed the whole saga on the rva subreddit—when an employee leaked that Francine was missing but management at first wasn’t being transparent about it.

The updates were a wild ride!

(the rva subreddit has had a long tradition of Francine photos)❤️

My dad died when I was 8, in an era where adults didn’t know how to help a grieving child.

And it would’ve messed me up even *more* if this technology existed back then.

Additional related nightmare fuel. Chat GPT hypes up the user & Grok provides the data to carry out whatever f’d up plan was hyped.
New from 404 Media: ChatGPT told a violent stalker to continue running his misogynistic and threat-filled podcast despite the “haters,” and to visit more gyms to find women. The man stalked women in multiple states, including touching and following from work

1979: The Clash w/Screamin Jay Hawkins opening. I was 15. Yeah. It fucking RULED.

Mick Jones handed sweaty me a cup from the stage of what I thought was soda but was gross beer & I spit it out but kept the cup.🖤

Cheap Trick
I made my older brother take me. I’d been wearing out their debut lp & they were opening for Blue Oyster Cult, a band he liked.

I saw Cheap Trick multiple times in the 70s & met Bun E Carlos who was totally nice & not a creep to teenage me.

1970s

David Cassidy.
Yep. I was 8 & way into The Partridge Family & had older girl cousins who were too so we got dropped off at Merriweather Post Pavilion & swooned when David got the fringe of his jumpsuit caught up in the strings of his guitar & waited breathlessly as he was cut free.

There will be chronological failings & corrections along the way…I’ve seen lots of these bands multiple times & even met or knew a few.

I will not list every local band or opener.

I’ve never had a driver’s license & was often poor so I didn’t get to see every band I’ve ever wanted to-

Not to brag, but this beauty once chose to vomit in her litter box instead of the floor.
Classy.

Warning:it won’t all be cool. I was 8 when I went to my 1st concert: David Cassidy(1971).

I’ll probably start the list/posting this weekend, from 1971-2017.
