StoryGraph won the Cultural Impact award from the 2025 Apple AppStore Awards! ✨

They presented the award to Rob the other day while he was in LA for their Developer Showcase.

StoryGraph has a new barcode scanner! It's an in-house solution that's a lot more accurate, and allows you to scan the front cover.

Homepage tweaks coming soon! ✨
Mockup for upcoming tweaks to the StoryGraph homepage. It presents various components like the "Current Reads" section with books displayed side by side, each with a circular progress bar indicating the reading progress. Annotations around the layout suggest changes like smaller streak text, fully clickable progress bars, bottom-aligned books for a tidier look, and stronger arrow contrast for navigation. There's also a move to eliminate overwhelming numbers from the UI, replacing them with simpler, time-based phrases. Adjustments to the layout of book recommendations aim to utilize space more effectively by using a two-column layout for a less cluttered appearance. The recommended books are shown in larger covers for easier readability and the interface colors are tweaked to be easier on the eyes, with a note pointing out new, easier on the eyes green. The overall design is organized and labeled clearly with notes and arrows pointing out the specific updates for clarity.
