I’m very excited for the new season, I can’t wait to meet Varada Sethu’s new character Belinda Chandra since her first appearance in Boom. I’m looking forward to how she’s going to find travelling the long way round with The Doctor and hopefully meeting Ruby Sunday! ✨

I’ve always been fond of the Christmas hat, but I think the last hat has been the definite Nardole hat in my brain when I remember him. Reminds me about Nardole finally having a little peace when he has said goodbye The Doctor - but I think for a challenge blue is more his colour 😊

The Shard is a pyramidal entirely glass-glazed tall building in London shaped like a sailing ship sail, standing 305.059 metres tall. The Shard is pictured under construction in a shot looking up towards the top of the building. A complete central concrete core pierces above the rising concrete floors, nearing creating The Shard's tip. A black slip-forming rig box is mounted on top of the core. 5-storey tall concrete screens enclose the workspace, obscuring the construction work on the concrete floors. The glazing panels are 11-12 storeys behind the completed floors revealed underneath the safety screens. There is a clear red strip running up the face of the building, hoist doors for the access lift. The tower crane mounted inside the slip-forming rig black box on top of the core is Tower Crane 5. Tower Crane 5 is constructing the mast for the new tower crane, Tower Crane 7, which is being mounted on a platform on the side of the building.

So we now know part of the #DoctorWho special is set in the nearish future, in a universe where the Civil Aviation Authority had cleared the air rights and the protected views of St Paul’s Cathedral’s dome are no longer enforced for city planning! Exciting! 😁

The Star Beast was one of the best highlights of watching #DoctorWho since I was 6 in 2005. It felt incredible to anticipate seeing characters again having more adventures leading up to it and I’m so happy they made 3 episodes for the sensation to last. I adore this scene with Donna when she has no idea how much The Doctor has made her the loving and caring person she is today. Even without The Doctor after the metacrisis, it is wonderful how strong she is to push herself to be there for Rose, for her to be safe in this world. It’s so lovely ❤️❤️➕🏳️‍⚧️✨

It was actually crazy to watch this in the US at midday - you can tell by the size of my drink! 🥤🇺🇸 Especially while I was there to advance my research project on 180-storey all-timber structures, demonstrating that you can build any multi-storey frame out of renewable material, to save Earth! Wild 💚
Personal viewing experience of watching The Star Beast, showing The Meep on my laptop screen. My small toy dog stroking The Meep on screen. Next to the laptop is a large plastic drink container containing cola, which is nearly as tall as my 17 inch laptop screen. Next to the drink are 2 hot dogs with ketchup and mustard. A newspaper from Port Isabel Press displays the location, and the recent Starship launch event, Starship Flight 2 “Launch Makes History, learns.”

It was so amazing to see Tennant as a Doctor again. Not as Ten again but his own incarnation having grown after all the time-lord has lived. Feels relatable, I suppose for a lot of the audience too 😊

The Leadenhall Building, is a slender triangular wedged shaped 52-storey tall building, with a braced perimeter tube structural frame, a dark silver grey, on display behind a clear glass curtain wall. The day is overcast and the building is prominent on the skyline above a few low rise buildings in the lower foreground. 30 St Mary Axe aka The Gherkin can be seen behind the tower. The photo has been taken from the South Bank, from South-West of The Leadenhall Building which is located in the City of London. My photo focuses on the building as the main subject, showing the building under construction, the skeletal structure rises several dozens of storeys above the low rise buildings below, yet the wedge is only two-thirds complete in height before reaching topping out. A distinctive yellow boxed moment-frame vertical backbone of the wedge shaped building grows slightly behind the progress of the perimeter tube frame. This is the North core of the building where all the services in the tower will be located. The portion of the wedge frame adjacent to the North core is detailed with structural K-braces, triangular steel compression frames on each floor. This portion of the tower rises ahead of the rest of the steelwork completing the wedge shape below. No glass panels can be seen to have been installed yet and two luffing-jib tower cranes, safety fans and edge protection rails on each floor embellish the structural frame with extra detail.
