Struck today at random by the thought of how happy I am to be (and be out as) non-binary and to be able to live truthfully to myself. I am exceptionally fortunate to be where I am today.

A big milestone while I wasn't looking, the (in-progress) The Stacks Collection is past 700 publications thanks to the diligence of @metalgearsurvive.bsky.social! I look forward to fleshing this out enough for it to be shown publicly in the coming months, because I think it's pretty swell

Having been fortunate enough to live in and visit France for a decade and a half, I can confidently say the French cannot leave any cuisine alone, they always have to be weird with it.

If I've learned anything over the past decade and a half of living in and visiting France, it's that the French cannot leave any cuisine alone, they always gotta do something weird to it. This is the French version of tacos.

r/fashion doesn't allow you to mark your gender in your post titles even though, for non-binary people in particular, that's kinda important since it's the difference between being misgendered and being treated appropriately.

I was also the youngest person in the whole museum by probably 25 years, and that's only because my mom was there. But I got to see my baby! Not a copy for once!

And considering I spent a good portion of my 27th birthday crying that I wouldn’t end up married, that my education would get me nowhere, that nobody cared about what I was doing, that I’d never truly be attractive, it’s been magnificent to disprove it all and be on an upward trajectory.

Just by way of example, here's a page from a Coin Journal I did, the print ad itself has nearly identical border sizing all around so this gives a good sense of how much information is lost. It's not GREAT but it means the core intellectual information is preserved and made available
