Attend more events and let them know you're coming. That would boost attendance. Go back to selling swag packs before anomaly and having a welcome party. Show the players you care about them as more than poke-gym creators.

Now you want to come in last minute for a money grab, when your players are depending on those shopping dollars to attempt to recover their buy in.
