Don’t mean to, but if I melt the glaciers and ice shelves holding the Antarctic ice sheet back from sliding off land and into the water—that’s bad news for rising sea levels. Not just now and in our lifetimes, but for centuries to come.

Don’t mean to, but if I melt the glaciers and ice shelves holding the Antarctic ice sheet back from sliding off land and into the water—that’s bad news for rising sea levels. Not just now and in our lifetimes, but for centuries to come.
