Right now, the decades of hard-won progress against AIDS that Stephen references are under real threat. Since he spoke about the dismantling of USAID, the Canadian government has cut $2.7 billion from international assistance over 4 years, including a 16% cut to Canada’s pledge to the Global Fund.
