I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I didn’t know much going in and was surprised to find it a dark mafia romance.

It was suspenseful, great pacing, sexy- kept putting it down and picking it back up to read.

This is an original storyline to me, with sirens, magic, gods, kings, the sea and so much more.

The world-building, the slow burn between Imogen & Theo; Mild spice, but simmering heat throughout.

The entire book was so, so good, but part 3 was uber suspenseful!!

Rowan & Sloane are a delight and hilariously witty.

A nice slow burn that starts as a friendship, but once the spice hits, boy did it hit!!! 🥵🥵🥵

The gory scenes are wonderfully detailed 🔪 & are great for a spooky season read!

Baldree did a wonderful job setting the scene and being detailed about it. The characters were all so great, with their own quirks. A lovely, fast, cozy read. Happy ending, veryyyyyy light spice. Cute & straightforward.
