Oh, and in addition to sewing, I’ve picked up knitting again recently.

It really was perfection.

Right, now I’ve got that off my chest, I’m going to go back to being thankful that I have a nice house which is warm and dry, and that even though it’s all suddenly very expensive, it’s going to be nice to have mains pressure hot water and mixer taps that actually mix! Safer for my lymphoedema too.

In the meantime, even running errands is complicated by the fact that pretty much my entire market set up is in my car, because all the workroom equipment and furniture is packed into the garage.
I’m de-creasing linen and fusing interfacing with a domestic iron. Sewing in a corner of my bedroom.

Oooh, I can get the upgrade to everything for a year for about $5 less than I'm paying for just Illustration and Photoshop at the moment... right when I need InDesign for something. 🙌

This reminds me, I really need to check if I can find a way to change my Adobe sub to take advantage of a deal this week.

At least they're trying to do something to encourage spending locally?

I just want all the Black Friday stuff to shuffle back off to whence it came. It's also annoying because it's only appeared here a few years ago, and it's right when I'd normally have my special personal celebration sale.

Those are pretty.

I think this might be why Buy NZ Made Week is a week now, not a day, to try and make it our own thing, rather than linked into an overseas commercial thing (I'm not saying Thanksgiving is commercial, just the Black Friday thing).

Haha I mentioned the 90s jeans skirts then deleted it for lack of characters to talk about a split.

I took it shouldn’t be too hard to do.
The one thing I will comment is that while it will be fine for the fit around the waist and hips, even as baggy as they are around the ankles it’s going to be a narrow skirt, so you’ll need a slit to the knees. Back, sides, or back and front as nod to origins.

You can also buy my stationery and accessory products from my own website, thesewphist.com. This is where I sell my purses and wallets, reusable fabric covered journals, pencil cases and greeting cards.

Oh! Does three vintage sewing machines equal a collection?

Flying Fox from the top of Te Ahumairangi, around the bays, to the airport.

It can be a revenue-generating tourist attraction when there’s no MPs needing to catch a train.

I zoomed in, your eyes are open a perfectly normal amount for someone with as warm a smile as you have!
