There’s a very interesting documentary on Amazon Prime called “The Brainwashing of My Dad” that describes this particular phenomenon and details the entire timeline from Reagan to Trump. It’s worth a watch.

I’ve been fat since puberty too. PCOS. I tried the eating right and exercise thing for two years. It was literally a full time job. It’s just not sustainable. I lost 56lbs but then I got ill and had to stop. Put it all back on in 2 months. I don’t care anymore. If food kills me, I win.
