i always wonder if he'd notice his own slip when he came back to repeat the pattern a week later but i presume that lack of self reflection is baked into the "confidence of a middle-aged white man" thing. anyway, please just fucking tell me what you want in your first message.

anyway it comes as a surprise to no one that every cis male boss i've ever had has used this technique to torment me by saying "hello [name]" and then not responding for anywhere from 30 minutes -> never. i literally have a series of screenshots of one boss saying hi and just. never continuing.

Thank you so much for the recs, I will be rubbing my hands and diving in!

I have! But I'm specifically feeling that prestige itch, that agonizing drama and sweeping landscape energy, you know? I love animation, it just hits a different place in my brain.

Whatever you think is appropriate to jump into! I put myself in your hands.

ALWAYS. I really enjoyed Shōgun and Blue Eye Samurai but I feel like I fumble when I consider some of the more soapy (?) aspects of kdrama. Do you have any recs that would help acclimate me into their tone? Because I feel like once I get the right taste that bias will vanish.

What's a bitch supposed to do in a post-Expanse, post-Wheel of Time, post-Andor world? Watch House of the Dragon? (Absolutely not.)

It might also be worth planning a second scan in mid January; a lot of folks do a closet clean-out after they've gotten their new fancies for Xmas and are feeling the NY resolution bug.

I am an absolute hambone about buying my 2026 calendars in january for 50% off. Unless it's by, like, a smalltime artist who might sell out.

This is so real; Last Christmas is one of the few xmas songs I genuinely *enjoy* and sing along to.
