He died 5 months later. He was 81. This man went to every screening starting at 50.. He hadn't been in hospital for even a day since he was 40 for hernia surgery. He'd still be here. Will we ever have a true count of how many died indirectly from the pandemic.

My dad died of colon cancer because he could not get seen for almost a year for his regular appts because of COVID. Once it was diagnosed, he then had appts pushed back twice. It then got to where he got septic and was thus ineligible for surgery after he recovered as he was then too weak.
