Oh! I just recalled another artist whose work I loved. AcidMouth/KattyKillfish has unfortunately purged most of their work from the internet long ago but a few small pieces are preserved by gard3r on FA. I loved their dynamic shapes!

After this I remember studiously breaking down art from Dolphy, Disney, and other animal artists I found! Here's some of my own art from that time.

I vividly remember stumbling on this 2007 piece by Dolphiana as an 11yo on the internet. I'd always been an art kid, but this was the artwork that made it click in my brain that creating good original animal artwork was something anyone could do & inspired me to take it seriously!
