The new notebook for next year, hopefully not as full as this year's, as I've used one to jot my thoughts on the missing January 6th Plaque for almost a year now. Hopefully the new Speaker of the House will require less notice of this oversight to get something done.

My Mom was the Queen of Practical Gift-giving, and I'm much like that in my own gift giving. Christmas seems to have less of her spirit in it this year. It's making this holiday especially hard. I hope she would be proud of the stuff I do politically, because she encouraged it.

The sibling rivalry is real, despite not being litter mates. Both trying to get as close to me as they can without actually touching each other, because they've come to hate that for some reason. Anyhow...
