I get paid the same amount I did at 15 YEARS OLD in the 80s & I have 2 degrees / no health insurance the last 20 years, so for us at the bottom it's worse. My photojournalism degree gave me 2 good years of $ before digital cameras, iphones, & AP made photojournalism more useless than blacksmithing.

I would absolutely love that. I feel like front lines and science need to work together at this point - like how it used to be back when farmers, photographers, etc had to be "scientists" to even do the work. Now front lines and science feel more at odds than together. I'm ready! Let's do it!

Unsurprising. I got into non profit to escape corrupt BS, but 7 years in the STL non profit sector has taught me that corruption lives in people that work everywhere. No industry or model is exempt.
