Never heard of it until now - is that what y'all use? It looks cool but it seems like a per-institution thing

At my old company we had a data storage SaaS with a beautiful upload/download API, a define data schema, and a typed python SDK to use it..... I could just grab what I needed from within my scripts and trust that the code wouldn't be bit-rotted in four weeks.

There are some activism-y ones like Stand up for Science (very new), and Science for the People (very old).

What do you mean by scientific society? Like AAAS or the Royal Society?

Are there any TSLA-free ETFs that otherwise match the S&P 500? Like how SPYX is mostly a copy of the S&P 500 minus fossil fuel companies?

In our college town, the local subreddit has twice been extremely effective in raising awareness of protests/marches (since Jan 20). Orders of magnitude more effective than X, bluesky, instagram. Facebook is slightly more effective, not as effective as reddit.

Invest a little bit more energy into amateur science organizations like Audubon Society and ??? (what are some other amateur scientist societies?). Maybe some prospective students are lost as professional scientists, but can still share their talents other ways? Sad to be thinking this way

The rick astley video can be converted to MP4 using this tool www.reddit.com/r/cnvmp3/com...

That MP4 can then be converted to a series of pngs using the following ffmpeg command:

`$ ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vf fps=1 out%d.png`
