The following flavour text written for my by my friend @artbyzvesta.bsky.social "Sorry what was that sire? The Night Mare? Are you sure that's the horse you want?" the sounds of some guy with too much money being offended "No, no! O-of course we t-tame her f-for you-" Meanwhile: -- A group of people try in vain to restrain a gigantic six legged horse with ropes. The horse has burning eyes and six siphon-like holes on its neck that appear to be spewing forth the night sky.

Realism is a technical still, sure! It shows your understanding of a medium, of light, or the ability to copy a photo. But it's not everything. It's not the ONLY thing.
You can make amazing non-realistic art.
You can make amazing stylized art.

An older Holiday Hadrosaur from 2011. Sepia ink on Moleskine sketchbook paper, 209 ×128 mm.

Silhouette drawing primarily in black ink of a stoat in combat with a rooster on a patch of wild grasses. Hen and Wren.
Ink and gouache on Fabriano Medioevalis, approximately 95 × 64 mm.
Drawing in black ink, primarily in silhouette, of a hen and a Wren regarding each other quizzically. The hen stands in a patch of wild grasses whilst the wren perches on a small, leafless shrub in front of her. The hen's comb and wattle are the only touch of red gouache. The drawing is finely wrought and intricate. The piece is roughly the size of a business card.

The spring stems of the pussywillow plant. The flowers are puffy and white and line the stems like pompoms. Amongst the flowers are tiny cats of the same colors who have tails that mimic the pussywillow flowers perfectly.
