Agreeing with how shitty this all looks, but commenting to say my understanding is Netflix's subtitling technically can't handle anything other than top or bottom positioned subs, so you never get localized text right next to or beneath JP text, like you used to w aegisub

One final thing, at the risk of being a huge tease... my biggest question going into this project was whether we would find a Riddle who could nail "that" scene. All I'll say is... I think you'll be very happy.
