Blaming the chain of command is the fratboy's way to avoid accountability. The fact is, once the boat's crew hit the water, the attack needed to end. It didn't. That's a war crime. Following the illegal order, the admiral and everyone involved, including Hegseth, are guilty of murder.

All the weapons flew one way. Those on the boat had zero ability to defend themselves or do harm to the attackers. Claiming fog of war is completely ludicrous. Hegseth was drunk on power, drunk on alcohol, or both.

They only backtracked and started shifting the blame when the truth was revealed. In the news conference today, Hegseth blamed the fog of war. Bullshit! Fog of war refers to the mental state during intense firefights, when weapons and emotions are redlined hot. Missiles sank the boats.

There is a new group of military and legal professionals who are helping military personnel and veterans understand their options. The organization will help find solutions, but also connect personnel to support groups, who prove that no one has to be alone in this.
