It's like they're afraid that the grain makes it look old, when to me, It gives the visuals texture & character, it highlights the handmade nature of film. Upscaling objectively deteriorates the picture, I'll never understand why they do it other than laziness.

Theatres in my city still do 3D screenings to this day, and I don't know a single person who actually buys tickets for them.

I could see it having level layouts similar to maybe pizza tower, just in a more non-linear fashion.
