Mysteries of the Bible used to be a great show on A&E that did all kinds of unbiased topics. It's really tough to find now though outside of an odd VHS rip on YouTube. I really miss straightforward religious docs. Today they are so sensational! Great Courses has good lecture videos, too.

Today's shocking & edgy doesn't equal great. There's so much mediocre tv content today that people think they see something great but it often pales in comparison against The Sopranos, Homicide Life on the Street, Mary Tyler Moore, etc. The Cumberbunny Sherlock was flash in the pan nothing more.
