Words really can’t capture what a treasure and gift human siblings like this are. And it cost us nothing to show genuine care to the wheelchair, bound greeter at the grocery store, the elder at the service desk, etc 4/x

In our current political climate, this is more important than ever. These sweet folks aren’t problems to be solved. They are people to be loved. Full stop. They don’t just deserve basic services. We owe them dignity and respect. 3/x #compassion #disability

Taking the time to converse with them, with #kindness and warmth, isn’t really hard. And you gain more than you give. You get back in touch with your #humanity. 2/x
