Tig Notaro Writing Old-Timey “Hot Lesbian Action” Movie With Zack Snyder Called ‘Deviants’ After Working Together On ‘Army Of The Dead’
You might remember that comedic actress/stand-up Tig Notaro (“Zootopia 2,” “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy”) stepped in last minute to replace fellow comedian Chris D’Elia (removed from the movie entirely in the wake of allegations sexual abuse and misconduct) on Zack Snyder‘s “Army of the Dead,” playing a surly helicopter pilot named Marianne Peters. It sounds like the two will be potentially reuniting for quite an interesting project, a period lesbian action flick where everyone is just “hot” called “Deviants.” Notaro revealed the tantalizing feature project and that she is co-writing a script with Snyder during a chat with Kara Swisher on the podcast “On with Kara Swisher” after bringing up the viral reaction and compliments to her role as Peters in the Netflix zombie actioner.
