What is AI, Models & Training? 🤖

You use AI every day — but do you actually know how it works?

In this episode, I break it down from the ground up:
→ What AI really is
→ How it learns from data
→ What a "model" actually means
→ Why AI can confidently get things wrong

Everyone’s building AI agents.

But here’s what most teams get wrong:
They’re optimizing for speed.

The winners are optimizing for TRUST.

→ Reliability over features
→ Transparency over magic
→ Human-in-the-loop over full auto

Speed gets you launched.
Trust gets you used.

Watching founders chase AI trends like:

→ "We need AI agents!"
→ "No, video generation!"
→ "Wait, voice cloning!"

Meanwhile, the real winners:

→ Pick ONE problem
→ Solve it 10x better with AI
→ Ignore the noise

Trend hopping builds demos.
Problem solving builds businesses.

Peter Steinberger built Clawdbot (now @openclaw) in public.

One month later, he's joining OpenAI to lead next-gen personal agents.

Sam Altman: "What he and his team build will quickly become core to our product offerings."

The signal? Build in public + solve real problems + move fast.

Building something called "Locked In."

Productivity meets social proof.

That's all I'll say for now.

Follow along if you want to see how a solo founder ships in public.

24. A laptop, internet + parents' support.

Goal: Retire my parents in 2 years.

Dad's 56, working abroad. They're still covering my expenses.

First year goal: build my business and take the weight off them.

October 22, 2026.
Either I made it, or I didn't.
But I'm done making excuses.

Started my "Locked In" challenge to build an AI software business + personal brand.

First 3 months? Failed. Shipped nothing. Research paralysis.

Then I started using OpenClaw. More productive, more time to cook.

Target: 1-3 short form videos/day.

Ship → Learn → Iterate.

Most people try vibe coding and quit when things break. I went the other way.

Before building AI apps and SaaS products, I learned the building blocks of modern AI first so I'd know what technique or tool to use when solving a problem.

Now I'm turning everything I learned into a content series.
