Java's weird, while its designed to be run on many platforms by running in a virtual environment, it creates a lot of inefficiency in terms of memory usage which consoles dont like.

Also, Java edition was promised that they would never sell you anything else... a promise not made for bedrock.

That's not to say don't give food, you should if you have it, or run a food drive or similar. But you don't need to go out of your way to buy it for them.

Cash is king, while gifts of food are highly appreciated, Money in the hands of a food bank goes MUCH further, they have access to networks that can buy goods at significantly lower prices.

I had this exact conversation with a friend this past weekend, It's definitely steeped in religious connotation.

Similarly, ive never bought an energy drink knowingly, but back in university, the school had one in the soda fountains at the cafeteria but i didnt read the label...
