May I also suggest said podcast could be called The Sweet Smell of Success? (Named after the Curtis/Lancaster film, or the episode of Are You Being Served?, takes your choice)

I know... but the Gatiss Sweet Bond show was years ago now... I was just making a light-hearted observation about how a new show, with them as regular-ish guests, would be a great listen, now that the Sweet Sound of Cinema is no more. And yes, I know about the early Sound of Cinema episodes too!

podcast would be *brilliant*. It would be the dream podcast if also occasionally Neil Brand turned up to deconstruct melodies on his piano, and Mark Gatiss popped his head round to talk James Bond once in a while. #filmmusic #cinemasound @neilkbrand.bsky.social
