Not all of us were jet setters, though I gotta say, flying on TWA's first 747 in 1969, from ORD to SFO, was a helluva experience. Very different from today.
Most, of the times I flew in the 60s were related to my dad's job. He was transferred a bunch as he rose up through the ranks at Allstate.

Permanent DST is the better choice, because it fucking sucks going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark in the winter.
