That Twitter of old can't, (and probably shouldn't be recreated). Bluesky users are the algorithm - in addition to suggestions by others, I find categorised lists highly useful. Just add anyone from, ED you want to hear more from, according to interest. Here's mine

2022 - Musk turned it into a wasteland, no moderation promotion of right wing politics and algorithms. Ed. users left in their thousands. Rise of AI slop. Bluesky provided an alternative.

2017-22 increasing confrontational discourse, and ad-homs. People started to leave. Dfe etc increasingly prominent. Rise of the Bots. Communities fragmented.

2012-17 the discussions assumed more pedagogical focus. Several camps developed according to philosophies. These camps started to become adversarial.

My experiences: 2007-2012 most educational use of Twitter was a sharing resources and tips and ideas. Communities of interest and practice formed. e.g Teachmeet. Debate was civil

Anyway AFAIK Motability is a lease, and you can't purchase sell at end of contract. So resale value not applicable.
