We lost our Julie earlier this year. She had a roughly annual attempt to die in new and exciting ways. Sepsis, anal gland tumour, fistula caused by same, gall bladder tumour, finally cheating by doing two in the same year and having a stroke. She is sort of missed, sort of not.

Please keep my boy Quandary in your thoughts the next few days. He's got something, we're not sure what, but the prognosis is not great. He's from my first set of kittens, almost four years old now, and such a good boy and clamberpuss. Here he is at a show a year old.

Just been to the vet for the final time with our little decrepit Julie. We think cancer finally got her, she'd had an annual attempt to die and it seems this time she won. She was a cat, not a good cat, but a cat, and I shall miss her and her perpetually grumpy face.
