An incredible honor & privilege to present our work to members of Chinese CDC and colleagues from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou yesterday, during the final workshop of our BBSRC GCRF funded work on the Double Burden of Malnutrition.

My first trip to China has been beyond extraordinary.

Painfully early arrival, along with gorgeous realtively mild day facilitated a great day to tourism.

But highlight was meeting up w my PhD student Xiaoying & sharing incredible mushroom hotpot experience. Ultimate 'leaning in' to our research on Ergothioneine. Eat your #mushrooms folks.

So. Up early this morning because, very excitedly, heading to China for the first time. While an end of grant workshop the catalyst, I am 'leaning in' to tourism on either side if it! So I may be quieter for a bit, but I'll be back!
