I seem to recall a "fix" where they are allowed to have their volume match the loudest noise in a progam. Didn't fix or help.

If only advertisers realized loud, obnoxious ads turn people off. There's one for mushroom coffee that is so delightful I will unmute to listen. And I loathe both 🍄 ☕️ 😝
