Just finished my second playthrough of Mass Effect Andromeda - still a solid ass game. Whoever did all the sound design and effects, I hope they got paid a lot cuz hot damn, shit was good.

Just checked out my Steam Replay 2025, looks like Coral Island comes in as the game I played most in 2025, not surprising, kept me busy for months. It was followed by Way of the Hunter, Surroundead, Fields of Mistria, and Generation Zero.

I am STOKED they're bringing back Stargate! I absolutely adore Atlantis, only comicon I've ever been to I went because Joe Flanigan was there. I really hope they have a bit of the campiness (doesn't always take itself serious) that made SG1 and Atlantis so much fun, and what made Universe...well....

Despite the hundreds of hours into Mass Effect, and even having a Mass Effect tattoo, I just learned today that your companions armor, at least in ME3 as far as I know, have different perks (e.g. +25% weapon damage, +25% power recharge time, etc), they aren't just cosmetic. I have failed Shepard.

I'm just going to assume at this point that the Mass Effect 'Civil War' Krogan image from yesterdays N7 day is just a movie poster or something, Blasto style. Wouldn't put it past Mike Gamble to send us down the wrong path to keep the real story a secret.

Finally got to give the My Time at Evershine alpha a go - aside from slightly odd character models, this bad boy has potential to be great. Definitely like how big the world is, as well as a lot more opportunities to build the community from the ground up, as opposed to just fixing/adding to it

My Time at Sandrock has been in my top 5 most played games on Steam for 2022, 2023, and 2024. Getting that itch again to do another playthrough just in time to add it to my top 5 for 2025.
