I can't decide if the saddest part is that their sales team almost certainly does this on-purpose as a sanctioned tactic, or that these reps were so spectacularly bad at deception. It would almost be funny if it weren't so offensive. Still, I'm sure some people are falling prey to this awful shit.

They tried to confuse and distract with buzzwords to sound authoritative, then tried manipulation, saying that I didn't understand how electricity supply worked. Got aggressive when asked if they were selling, and flat-out denied doing any sales at all. We devolved to shouting on the sidewalk.
