I doubt this will reach anyone in @larianstudios.com, but if it does, can we get an example of HOW Larian is using AI, and how it is trained? I think that will help a lot of people on the fence, but teetering on the side of caution. Thank you for coming to my THESIS of a post.

As many have already voiced, until generative AI is used with consent and for the love of human creativity - implementing it into an art/creative space is hard to justify. Since they're already saying they are likely going to hit Early Access in 2027, I doubt this will stop. But i'm disappointed 4/4

to be okay with generative AI is a huge red flag, even in early development. That is also to say, we don't know if this art is trained locally. Do you guys have your own LoRAs that utilize compensated artists work for this type of generation? Are you using a public large scale model? (3/4)

the impact that GEN-AI has on the environment, our technical populace, AND the art community leaves it no reasonable place for use. That's a personal opinion, mind you. I'm not delusional enough to think GEN-AI is going away. We're stuck with it. But for a beloved studio, so in tuned with art (2/4)

I'd say the CPU is the next big upgrade you'd need. Since that CPU is an AM4 socket, you could get a really nice Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Alternatively, a cheaper option is the Ryzen 7 5700X or Ryzen 9 5900X (the latter being better for rendering videos and pre-recorded content).
