The real problem with all these "communists" running around pontificating meaningless outdated dogma is that they're all useless masturbators who act like they're above the system as an excuse for their feckless inaction and lack of ability to form coalition.

I'm happy about anyone wanting to resist fascism now. But don't pretend the resistance changed; you changed, and you must acknowledge that to shed any bs you brought with you.
yeah seeing the "Minneapolis took off because the so-called 'activists' got out of the way and let normal people in" takes is really frustrating. that's not at all an accurate look at what's happening in Mpls or anywhere else. All these movements rely on cores of people who have experience.
Lots of regular degular, never-done-an-activism folks have been activated in recent months and are working alongside a bunch of seasoned, die-hard, been-tired-for-ten-years-or-more organizers, and you don't know all of those stories bc most people are moving with a bit of discretion in these times.

I think a lot of us get hope wrong. Hope, I do not believe, is an emotion. In fact, hope makes space for lots of emotions to exist alongside it. You can DO hope scared, angry, sad etc...
