Some good paintings.

The Painter of the Hole I, George Grosz
A painting by George Grosz, titled "The Painter of the Hole 1". A painter sits at an easel, painting a hole. On top of the painting is a reference sketch of the hole. Surrounding the painter are prior paintings of the hole in assorted sizes. A mouse crawls atop the in-progress painting. The room - if it was a room - is exposed to the elements, with no roof and little remaining of the walls.
