A huge thank you to Anthony Freeman and the amazing school kids who helped bring some festive cheer to 3 Usher Street. The large windows have been transformed with colourful Christmas scenes — and if you look closely, you might even spot a few familiar local characters hidden among the artwork!

Darragh joined the board of SICCDA in 2018 at just 21. With deep family ties to both SICCDA and the Liberties, he has remained an active voice in the organisation and, more recently, in the Liberties Community Project, making him one of its longest-serving board members.

A copy of our old publication, Liberties News, was unearthed from our archives today. Vol. 2, No. 1 from Feb 1994—features articles on the opening of the Medieval and Old Dublin Heritage Project, a visit from President Mary Robinson to Liberties Vocational School, and a children’s section.

Our community groups are a close-knit bunch, and they've come together once again for a beautiful cause - knitting for a local hospice. Every stitch sewn together with care, comfort, and community in mind.
