When I was little my parents started a tradition of giving me a nutcracker for the holidays, and after my dad died when I was 12 my mom kept it going.
I am 41 and have over 30 of the little fuckers and it's goddamn great.

She's gone. The sweetest, most sensitive collie you could ever hope to meet, and I got to spend a decade with her. Not nearly long enough. Samsara is the goddamn fucking worst, but I'd rather have a Sophie sized hole in my heart than never having known her.

I made hot sauce for the first time a week or so ago, it turned out alright but I'm mostly excited about dropping off a jar with my buddy who supplied the peppers!
