It all comes down to affordable housing. These people have nowhere else to go. That’s all there is to it.
Until our provincial government prioritizes deeply affordable social and supportive housing, it’s only going to get worse.

A lot of delays are due to disorderly conduct. Deeply affordable social and supportive housing would get a lot of homeless people out of the TTC because they would have somewhere warm to be.

If only he would order the LTB back to in-person hearings.. but no! Not them!
The backlog is caused in part by not having in-person hearings anymore. They used to settle a lot in person, not so much online. Plus not everyone has a computer which also leaves a lot of tenants at a disadvantage.
