Treat these as NEW stories, not retellings of ones that the comics already did.
Reality is that they can NEVER be the same, and they never will be. The sooner you accept that this is an entirely different universe and that some things are going to be different (different powers, different looks, variations on familiar stories, etc), the happier you will be.
