He doesn't care what his National Intelligence director says? Apt.

Nice argument.

It's because they were smart enough to predict what would happen, yet not smart enough to prevent it. Or perhaps, they were just unwilling to do what was necessary to prevent it. Regardless, it's understandable to blame those who failed to stop what we're all experiencing now.

You don't.

I envy future Americans who'll learn about this administration and have a laugh at how comically corrupt and incompetent it was; having to actually live through this historically awful presidency is just sickening and not at all amusing.

Why did you vote to continue giving more weapons to this Israeli government?

"Biggest policy mistake in 95 years."

The Supreme Court screwed Gore more than Nader did.

She was dealt a bad hand, yeah. Biden should have stepped aside and not run for reelection in the first place. But if the idea that Kamala was chosen as VP because she was a special politician, then she would have won. Trump is no electoral juggernaut. Twice now, Dems lost to an embarrassing clown.

No "excellent candidate" would be so badly damaged in a primary that it made them the least popular presidential candidate in history next to the person she lost to. Obama was an excellent candidate. He wasn't weakened by an even more competitive and nasty primary; if anything, it made him stronger.

Would I be correct in assuming that much of your opposition towards Bernie stems from him being left-wing and you believeing that centrism is the best way forward. It's fine if you do; your ideology is what it is. But that would make it easier to understand where you're coming from.

I disagree that Bernie ran an anti-Democratic campaign. I think he ran a campaign critical of the party, but at the end of the day, he wanted the Dems to win. Nader couldn't care less. Nader thought the party was beyond fixing, Bernie always maintained that a better party was possible, and crucial.

He has nothing to personally gain from doing this. He isn't running again. He wants a politically mobilized populace. One that's ready to oppose the current administration, while also demanding more of the opposition party. He's filling a void of leadership. He shouldn't have to do this.

"Promise" is the operative word here. I don't see Bernie as a utopian. He's never said his political ideas would be easy to attain, quite the contrary. His goal has always been to try to get people to demand more and better of their government. That's what he's doing now, in a non-election year.

Nothing on BlueSky is anywhere near the mental health-wrecking hellish trenches of the site formerly known as Twitter. I apprciate the civil exchange of ideas.
