May I remind you that borders have two sides. If Mexicans didn't care, it's absolutely up to the US to enforce their side. I don't see that as them pawning anything off. Rather, a mismatched priority. 🤷

No. It isn't. Nowhere in the article do they explicitly call out that the people onboard were all Mexican citizens.
If they were able to verify that information, it would most definitely be in the article.

That's not a fair statement now, is it? For all we, and the Mexican authorities, know, those were planes of people born in another country entirely! And some of them may have never even been to whatever country team Tramp thinks they should live in.

Not trying to irritate, but I don't see it that way. For one thing, defund the police was a huge rally cry for 2020. Didn't go anywhere and I see no evidence of social services having any power over the standard police responses.
