I haven’t made it to Garmisch, but have covered a fair number of places in the country. Vienna I think remains my favorite city, but the best Christmas market is the Medieval Christmas Market at the ruins of Aggstein Castle. If you have a chance to visit again, almost anytime of year is a good time.

Serendipitous #Krampus. Technically, last night was #Krampusnacht, but wandering about Bad Ischl this eve, I ran into a wild pack of Krampii & their obligatory St Nikolas. This one posed, whacked my wife then wandered off.
