it’s impressive how everytime I post something it gets compressed into oblivion

i’m gonna cover him in clay later this isn’t his final form (though he’s very silly like this)

I was doing it while doing more brainstorming for that game I want to do. These are all major characters but their designs aren’t final.

it’s really dark and a little messy but the idea is to flip the paper over and recreate the final sketch with colored pencil (example here is another drawing like this I started awhile ago and then forgot about, but it gives you an idea)

Also I got the idea from a dream I had where I was playing Deltarune Chapter 3 and everyone was there except for Ralsei??? Instead toriel was dressed like him but purple and with a staff and was acting as herself and him. It was kinda funny

My friend pointed out that it doesn’t exactly follow the same design philosphy as the other dark world sprites (as in, usually there’s a contrasting sub color like susie’s yellow spikes), but I was already locked in

(This was done in Aseprite using the C64 and NTSC NES color palettes that were built in. I probably should’ve exported this at 1000% its size instead of leaving it at 500x500 but oh well)
