Just seen it. I hate to be Mr Glum but that’s lucky! Poor decision as 9 times out of 10 that hits first defender from that angle and we’re all saying what a waste!
I just don’t see any player that’s improved either - the waste of Mainoo, no young players, defence + midfield a disorganised mess!

I also have no faith in the people above and around him at the club with the loss of so many staff from youth set up seemingly indicative of the way we we’re going.

It doesn’t seem to matter who’s up front in that role - we don’t seem to play with them in mind! That’s why I’m now done. I think a year is enough to actually see some patterns of play and some basic tactical awareness. Zirkzee is clearly not a No.9

Are we ready to accept now that this affable fella might be grand for the press and thoroughly decent, but also inherently not suited to this job?

I was about to say it will probably follow usual pattern of looking vaguely promising until we concede or fail to score. Cos then we crumble and/or opposition works out real quickly that we have massive gaps that we leave to exploit.

I’m not watching. Even if if did have TNT or hack to watch I’m not sure I would at the moment. I find us too frustrating and not enjoyable.

Oh god yes to this. My other learned lesson is that I am not good at having to navigate people - and sadly there is a design flaw that makes this pretty much essential.

Aye - seeing it with other teams for sure, which makes pleased spirit and attitude seems different at LSV.
