I'm sure you're right. So many people contributed to that book, it's hard to tell, who contributed that bit. Possibly Roy Palmer.

The illustration is from the evergreen 'Reader's Digest' book of 1973. I thought it was by Charles Keeping at first, but now I'm not so sure. Any ideas?
