I just started listening to @johnfugelsang.bsky.social book “Separation of Church and Hate” and have quickly realized this is someone I’d love to meet and talk to. We’ve been needing this book for over a decade.

Real talk.

We were able to spend Thanksgiving with my mother-in-law and brother-in-law. It was a wonderful day. Truly thankful for these folks.

Today is Christ the King Sunday and our pastor’s sermon resonated with me strongly and reminded me why I’m a Christian Anarchist.

For the first time in a number of years, I’ll be preaching the first Sunday of Advent as our pastor will be returning from Thanksgiving Holiday.

So, yeah, the sermon will be titled The Power of the Bud.
