Misanthropic people-person. 🇨🇦

I don’t care about your college football team.
Way back in the 80s we would sometimes see Habs players on Thursday nights at the original Peel Pub. Nobody bothered them. Then again, social media didn’t exist so people knew how to act better.

My thought also.

They were just jealous of all the Stanley Cups that he won.

Months to get to local roads?! Are you trolling us? There would be a revolt in Montreal if that were the case. We pay high taxes, we expect services.

I’m wondering if you are talking about “sidewalks” because “walks”
or “walk ways” are not sidewalks here.

Anyway, good luck to all Edmontonians.

When people slip and fall, they break bones so yes, sidewalks should be plowed.

Is Edmonton in denial of the responsibilities of a winter city?
December 1, 2025 at 3:30 AM
I’m having difficulty understanding your point of view. If your tax dollars go towards plowing streets, why not the sidewalks? I shovel the snow on MY driveway but you need to explain why one, especially someone who is renting, should shovel sidewalks which are city property.

I’m sorry to hear this.

It doesn’t make sense that a winter city like Edmonton doesn’t do a better job with sidewalks.

I live in the suburbs and drive a car every day for work but I will argue that snow-cleared sidewalks are a priority over the same for roads.

I’ve taken this for granted.

lol. Literally out loud.

Are you still here?

Other cities don’t plow their sidewalks?! That is, in fact, completely crazy.

JUST in case you weren’t aware, Bad Company is in Garrett Graf’s favourite books of 2025. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/my-favorit...

I personally liked it very much. Like Graf says, private equity is even worse than I thought.

Rétrograde is a polite description of the CAQ. The end of this government cannot come fast enough.

lol

It’s insulting to the fans.

That is the primary reason why I’m interested in her position on the MOU.

You should run for the NDP. I was a longtime Liberal voter and our country needs strong and vocal opposition.

Someone like you.

So much fucking winning!!!

Good article. Thanks.

Best description of Brady that I’ve read.

Thank you for the in-depth analysis.

I appreciate your comment that Trudeau went left “very negligible in policy but def rhetorically” because it’s a fact.

What amazing timing!

Thank you for letting me know.

I’m glad to hear this. I voted NDP in the last election after having voting Liberal for most of my life (I’m an anglophone Quebecer 🤷‍♂️) and I want a NDP with a strong leader.

Has McPherson given her position on the MOU? I am extremely interested in knowing what it is.
